Adhering to strict covenants and the requirements of multiple government agencies, ADA designed a 66,000 square-foot, two-story regional office building for the Veteran’s Administration on behalf of owner and contractor Hampton Enterprises in the prestigious Williamsburg Village retail and office community. While keeping with the Williamsburg colonial style, the LEED-Gold certified building was designed with its own identity and with special attention to environmental elements. LEED Gold certification is a prestigious distinction awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council for environmental leadership in the building industry. The facility houses 230 VA employees and four other service organizations, and provides the employees, clients and visitors with a state-of-the-art, flexible work environment.
Concrete Industries, a NEBCO, Inc. company, supplied the structural and exterior precast products for the build.
